After God, through Christ Jesus, saves us, empowers us, forgives us of our sins, and calls us out of the world to be His church, there are some basic responsibilities believers in Christ must meet. The following is a delineation of those responsibilities.
Lordship Responsibility – to allow Christ Jesus to be the “Lord” of our lives and take charge of our future. Many experience God’s salvation through Christ Jesus, but refuse to allow Him to be “first,” “Head,” and absolute authority of their lives. Our first response to God’s salvation in our lives is to make Jesus Lord of our lives.
